Sleep, school, and baaaaaad habits
Sep. 23rd, 2003 05:19 pmOkay, so I go to one of the coolest places in the English-speaking world, barring all those other really cool places, and you'd think I'd take the opportunity to live life to the fullest, face the world, accomplish some things in life, etc etc.
At least you'd think that I could get my homework done.
Ha.
Once again, for the first time this semester but for the thousandth time in my school career, I've managed to spend an entire week staring aimlessly at a computer telling myself that NOW I'll do my homework, well really soon anyway, or to quote the characters in the Horse and His Boy, "Presently. Not just yet,but presently."
Managed to get half the necessary amount of sleep whilst doing this.
I mean, I expected to have problems getting work done, but I kinda thought it would be because I'd be going to too many cool places and sightseeing too much. *moans* I hate this mess.
On the other hand, having proved to myself that I cannot be trusted to use time to complete homework, I now have license to leave it and do something productive rather than stare at the screen.
I also have license to sleep by virtue of the vicious bug going around our group. Don't want to get sick now, do I?
On the plus side, I can go home tonight and rest. Go me!
Happier entries forthcoming....
