Feb. 12th, 2004 08:48 pmI think I must hate myself.
I have to write a book report on David Brewer's book "Chaucer's World." This is one of many, many assignments I need to do tonight; this assignment is already rather late for a rather lenient prof.
And I've gotten bored with it. A simple, 2-3 page report on a rather interesting book.
So I decide, since it's Chaucer, I'll try to do it in rhymed iambic pentameter. Just to make it a challenge. For those who don't know, rhymed iambic pentameter is a rather formal poetry form, something where each line has to read out something resembling the beat structure da-DA da-DA da-DA da-DA da-DA and, of course, rhyme.
And I still have 8-9 Major Entries to do in my reading notebook for the same class, tonight.
I really must hate myself.
