The Lost Skeleton Of Cadavra
Mar. 25th, 2004 11:55 pmWell, it was ... interesting. It was indeed an extremely cheesy scifi/horror flick after the 1950's style, but it was a touch too cheesy, too cheap, to be a Great Classic Spoof. Still quite funny. I think the funniest line by far would be:
SKELETON: (telepathically) Animala, you must get me the atmospherium.
ANIMALA: I... must... get... an... Amish... terrarium...
BETTY: Why, what's that? Honey, Amish don't live in terrariums, do that?
PAUL: (brisk, know-it-all, hero-scientist tone) No, Betty, that would be inhumane. The Amish live free range, like us.
The cartoon at the intro, however, was EXCELLENT. All in all, worth one showing, and definitely worth owning that intro cartoon.
I would love to see an Amish terrarium, nonetheless.
For the curious...
Here's the Quicktime trailer, a masterpiece in itself. Good luck finding a showing, though.
