Working girl, part deux, and misc
Aug. 11th, 2005 05:37 pmAt work, done with my stuff and waiting for my ride to be ready to leave. I will review my job when I feel like I've settled into a groove. First three days, overall impression: great! Today, not so much. Bit of a headache, bit of a back ache, tired, and I had to take care of an order for 64 shirts. Well, the part I didn't take care of last night, i.e. 2/3 of the order.
I want home. I want tea. I want a car in order to be able to get there.
In other news, those friends interested in seeing me play a harlot in a church production of The Prodigal Son need to email me their mailing addresses. Then they may need to mail me $10 (depending on whether or not I can rip the DVD I've already got from the church or if I'll need to go buy multiple copies). Be forewarned that, due to the angle and distance of the camera, you don't see my costume in detail, nor my face. And of course I'm a bit part, so most of the video is lots and lots of people you don't know. (I wish the camera had gotten in closer. Evidently the look on my face when "I" fought the other harlot scared my sis - she said she remembered what that look had meant when we were fighting as kids. What look???)
Oh yeah, and that's 10 USD, in case a certain pushy Canadian decides to take me up on my offer instead of whining about how I'm not sending him stuff. :)
