Sweet Sabbath, how I love thee
Apr. 25th, 2004 10:27 pmSo I decided after all the stress I've been going through, after staying up until 5:30 this morning working on my Shakespeare paper, I deserved a true Sabbath today -- no work, just rest.
Bliss.
I considered saying "sweet relief," but see, there's still one more project to go before I can write off this semester, and some loose ends like prepping for exams. Saying "sweet relief" at this point could be bitterly ironic within the next couple days. I hope, however, at this point next week, I will be able to post "sweet relief" from school and indulge in a week of no responsibilities whatsoever. May I just say how wonderful it is that my summer job is set, so I can enjoy my brief vacation without guilt?
