For those curious, my new userpic is me, ca. age 3, and Janie. Janie was the constant companion of my youth, and is currently sitting in the place of honor in my cozy corner in my room. Janie has survived so much, it's amazing she still looks pretty much the same.

I, however, have rather changed over the years. Hence my relaxed mood about posting my pic online.
