I've become addicted to blog-reading over the past several weeks. (Perhaps because, if you get addicted to enough blogs, you never lack for reading material.) And I've been getting some interesting lessons:
True forgiveness costs something. I'm not a good, loving person because I don't get upset easily. I will be a good, godly person only when I can be utterly outraged at depravity, and still find it in my heart to love the person who commits it.
Popsicle stick crosses will save the world. Okay, that's not exactly the lesson there, but the author's title is too good to pass up. The Church isn't fostered primarily through the Great Organizations, but through humble service and love.
Prayer is not a chore to be done, but a discipline to be rejoiced in. The entry says it all.
The Intern. Okay, so that isn't a Life Lesson, but it's a great take on the state of (some of) the church today. Donald Trump does the megachurch youth group, anyone?
Rounding it out, the importance of something ordinary, as told by Bad Catholic, whom I thank for the links to all the other blogs I've found. :)
