Anyone else know that song? "Peanut, peanut butter -- and jelly!
...First you take the grapes and you squish them, you squish them!"

That's about how I feel. My brains have melted and gotten to a two-year-old level thanks to folding and now stuffing letters. Gah. Luckily, there was a wonderful thing known as a WEEKEND intervening, so I got to spend the night with my best friend and watch movies til dawn and play Monopoly. I won, and I'm still trying to figure out whether it was because of or in spite of the dice... because the dice turned rather nastily against me when I was at a low point, but before that I somehow landed on Free Parking every time even whilst my poor friend kept landing on my hotel properties and Go To Jail. New House Rule: Any one railroad or utility is equivalent to any rent under 1000 and any two are equal to any rent conceivable. Makes for a MUCH funner game than constantly selling houses and mortgaging properties to obtain the proper rent in cash.

Anyway, having tried to come up with new rules and all I'm ready to go back to reading Three Musketeers. :-)

I am horrible at Monopoly. Completely inept. Not great with strategy, and I lack a killer instinct, which I have noticed in some better Monopoly players. I won a couple games in the spring, but that was Monopoly Junior, and my opponents were 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders. I prefer trivia games, and maybe Scrabble, though my Mom destroys me every time we play.

The peanut butter song! (All I can remember is the first line...repeats in my head like a broken record.)
